Dr. Yaming Gao, received her Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. She has about 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, and mainly with Shell Oil Company (Houston, Texas), Halliburton Company (Houston, Texas), and The Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development (Beijing, China). Her expertise is in the areas of research, development, deployment and teaching in integrated seismic constrained reservoir modeling. Her broad teaching experience includes data analysis, pre-processing, rock model, well log inversion, seismic inversion, geostatistics, post-processing, model QC, property synchronization, etc. Besides teaching geostatistics at Knowledgette, she also enjoys tutoring math for high schoolers.
